It is a pulse dose portable concentrator that operates on setting from 1 to 6 with oxygen concentration levels at around 90%. It works using Inogen’s Intelligent Delivery technology to ensure oxygen therapy is delivered efficiently in all modes. Intelligent Delivery precisely detects breathing rate and adjusts the oxygen level accordingly. When physical activity is high, the unit provides quick, shorter bursts of oxygen to satisfy your energy needs.
The Inogen G5 weighs less than 5 pounds with the single battery and measure at 7.19 inches wide x 3.26 inches deep x 8.15 inches high; making it one of the wearable concentrator on the market. The G5 batteries were designed and tested to be long-lasting. The single battery can last up to 4.5 hours at a setting of 2, and the double battery can last up to 9 hours. The rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries also have a faster than average recharge time at around 4 hours with the small battery and on the average of 8 hours for the large battery.
At only 39 decibels, the G5 is one of the quietest portable concentrators. It produces less noise than a normal indoor conversation meaning you won’t disturb others when you use your oxygen concentrator and will feel more comfortable in social settings. It’s also perfect in quiet environments when you want to be unobtrusive.
Inogen Connect is a free mobile app that is available with the Inogen One G5. Inogen Connect provides the ability to monitor your Inogen One more closely through any Apple or Android supported device.
