Jeff is a third generation Realtor bringing over 20 year of real estate sales and business leadership experience to United Country as an Area Vice President. Jeff has an extensive background in both recruiting & Mergers and Acquisitions in the Real Estate industry. As an AVP with United Country, Jeff covers the expanding market areas of: New York, New England, as well as Eastern and Central Canada. For Jason Cole, United Country’s success is in numbers. As the chief financial officer, he oversees all of the audits, company expenses and keeps track of all of our affiliates’ financial success. Jason brings more than 12 years of finance and accounting experience from corporations like Walmart and Kansas City Southern Railroad.
Shawn Terrel
President | Auction Services
Shawn Terrel brings a wealth of auction experience and insight to our executive management team. Shawn has more than 25 years of auction management and professional bid calling experience in the industry. He is a former Board of Director for the National Auctioneers Association and a past Chairman and President of the Oklahoma State Auctioneers Association. Shawn has been crowned a Champion Auctioneer in multiple states during his career, and is recognized as one of the industry’s authorities on conducting auctions.
Richard Thompson

As the executive vice president of sales, Richard Thompson actively recruits, trains and manages the franchise sales team by creating and executing strategic sales plans. Richard brings decades of real estate-specific and sales experience to United Country as a prior real estate office owner and sales associate. Tracy Hall sits on the Senior Leadership Team representing the Affiliate Services Department in strategic planning, program management, program enhancements and team leadership to provide better services to UC affiliates and customers. Jim Nowak is continuously focused on improving the quality of life for our affiliates and web users alike. After working with Hewlett Packard as a business analyst for 13 years, with experience in web development database administration and coding, he’s now part of the United Country Real Estate technology team.

Sofia has over ten years of experience in advertising and marketing at the national and international levels. She has a broad knowledge of branding, managing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, and digital and print media advertising. As the Marketing Director of EMS, Sofia leads the team initiatives to provide the strategic solutions United Country franchises need to market their local brands, auctions, and lifestyle properties. Prior to joining United Country, she led advertising teams for Payless ShoeSource across 20+ countries in Latin America. She has also worked with other known brands like Takis USA, NFL Films, and FC Dallas.
She received her Bachelor's Degree from UT El Paso and her Master's degree in Emerging Media from UT Dallas.

In 2001 Nate began his career in Real Estate as a licensed Real Estate Agent. As his career progressed in 2005 he earned his Broker Licenses in the State of Minnesota. Later in 2005 Mr. Ryan joined United Country as Regional Vice President and later would become a Senior Trainer. United Country honored Nate in 2008 with a Holcomb Award. In the time since then Nate has left United Country and then came back home in 2020. He now works as a Business Consultant.

Areas of experience include criminal law, environmental law, intellectual property, and corporate governance. Jessica holds a Master's in Law from California Southern School of Law.

Linda Richardson has spent more than 30 years keeping United Country on the legal straight and narrow as the administrative assistant for the legal department. In her role, Linda works directly with the outside franchise attorney to prepare franchise agreements, contract changes and updates to franchise disclosure documents.

Eva, new to Kansas City, brings 15 years of admin expertise to rural real estate as a Virtual Office Assistant. Her unique blend of admin skills and social media marketing experience sets her apart. As a seasoned influencer, Eva has collaborated with major brands, earning a blue check verification. Proficient in photography, videography, and trend analysis, she aims to apply her successful strategies to the rural real estate market.Outside work, Eva enjoys cooking award-winning dishes, volunteers at the humane society, and upcycles thrift store clothing. Born and raised just outside of Kansas City, MO, Shannon has always been fascinated by human behavior and the dynamics of our society. Her academic journey led her to pursue a major in psychology and a minor in criminal justice at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO.
During college and after graduating in December of 2021 she ventured into the realms of HR and Accounting assistance. However, she had big travel dreams and in June of 2023, embarked on a transformative journey backpacking through Europe for five months. Documenting every step of the way ignited her passion for social media, branding, and marketing.
Since returning to the United States, Shannon dedicated herself to expanding her expertise in marketing and communications. Acquiring several certifications, she honed her skills in website development, blog writing, social media management, and SEO optimization. Malina Barber-Regier

Malina Barber-Regier was born and raised in Salina, KS, and in 2014, she made the move to Manhattan, KS to study journalism and mass communications at Kansas State University. Having a life-long interest in and knack for written and verbal communication, as well as a love for the uprising social media platforms, it made her decision to pursue this degree a no-brainer.
Malina wrapped up her collegiate career in the summer of 2018. Instead of immediately jumping into the job force, she packed her bags and moved to Queensland, Australia on a year-long working holiday visa. Within the 12 months of overseas residency, in addition to six weeks of European travel, Malina took a deep dive into the lives and cultures of many different individuals around the world, as well as finally putting her many years of Spanish to good use.
In her various roles since settling back into life in America, she's gained experience withsocial media management, website construction, SEO, email marketing and much more. Malina has a passion for effective communication and helping businesses grow.
